We foster growth by letting them continue to do so.
The Children First Out-of-School Time (OST) Program – provides a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children in grades K–6 outside of regular school hours.
Before School Care: Available starting at 6:30 AM until school bus pick-up.
Our Before School Program creates a quiet and supportive start to the day before children transition to the school experience (CFK for those enrolled and off to the school bus for Granby District participants). Children arrive to quiet music, a place to eat breakfasts sent in from home, art activities, games, and explorations before heading out to the school bus around 8 AM.
After School Care: Begins at 3:05 PM (or upon bus drop-off) and ends at 5:30 PM.
Our After School Program provides a welcoming environment for children to decompress after their school day. They are greeted by our teachers as they get off the bus (for Granby District participants) and have opportunities for snacks (sent from home), some space and time to get started on homework, plenty of opportunities for outside play after a day of being seated, as well as activities and social time.
Our “Special Days” Programs refers to all days that the school system has extra release time: half and full-day curriculum days, snow days, school vacations and summers. On these days, children have lots of opportunities for extended learning, outdoor play, experiments, projects, as well as individual, small, and large group activities.

Our school-year program includes:
- Dedicated time and space for homework help
- Plenty of outdoor play to support physical activity and social development
- A strong emphasis on STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Our indoor space was purposefully designed to support hands-on learning, including a Science Pod, Art Pod, and Engineering Pod.
Our Vacation and Summer Programs:
We also provide full-day care during school vacations and over the summer. These programs feature a rotating schedule of weekly themes that guide activities, projects, and exploration—making learning fun and engaging even when school is out!
